Inside Out Advisors Ltd is a boutique commodities trading and risk management advisory group specialising in metals and energy markets. Our unrivalled expertise in commodities markets and access to an extensive network allows us to deliver practical advice to our consulting clients across multiple disciplines and commodity sectors. Our services are tailored to our clients’ requirements to deliver a comprehensive package from design to implementation of business plans and processes.

Commodity prices are notoriously volatile and constant changes in global demand and supply have deep implications for consumers, producers and traders. Global macro flows and correlation between risk assets can distort prices from fundamentals opening up multiple opportunities in both the long and short term. The rate of technological advance has lowered the barriers to entry but has been unable to offset the accelerating costs due to the increasing regulatory complexity and surge in environmental awareness. It is critical to design and implement any commodity growth strategy by fully understanding long term implications on all parts of the business.

Janelle Matharoo

Former Managing Director Global Head of Energy Sales & Trading at ICBC Standard Bank Plc for 10 years. One of the principal members of the Global Commodities Management Team and the Global Markets Management Team. Prior to this he was in the same role at Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank. He started his career at Bankers Trust in 1987 as a graduate and was Global Head of Energy Sales & Trading and Equity Index Derivatives at the time of its takeover by Deutsche Bank. In all he has nearly 30 years of experience in this industry.

Amrik Sandhu

Former Managing Director of Morgan Stanley, Head of EMEA Commodities, Global Head of Metals and Co-Head of Institutional Investor business. Served on the European Operating and Management Committees, the EMEA Risk Committee, and Global Commodities Management Committee. Prior to this he spent nine years at Deutsche Bank before moving to Bank of America where he was in charge globally of the Metals Business. His career started at industry leader Bankers Trust more than 26 years ago.
